CleanAir GTL is formulated by adding a nano technology patented performance additive, to Gas To Liquid (GTL) diesel. The GTL is sourced from Shell, one of the world's leading suppliers of GTL fuel.

WHAT IS GAS-TO-LIQUIDS?

Gas-to-liquids (GTL) technology converts natural gas – the cleanest-burning fossil fuel – into high-quality liquid products that would otherwise be made from crude oil. GTL products are colourless and odourless. They contain almost none of the impurities – sulphur, aromatics and nitrogen – that are found in crude oil.

THE CERIUM OXIDE ADDITIVE THAT MAKES BLUE D+ UNIQUE?

The additive in our fuel is Envirox™, a fuel borne catalyst based on nanotechnology produced by UK based company Energenics. It is scientifically and commercially proven to save fuel costs, by reducing fuel consumption, with a corresponding reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (CO2).

CleanAir GTL PRODUCT BENEFITS

CleanAir GTL is an alternative fuel for use in diesel engines, which lowers local emissions (e.g. particulate matter, NOx, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide). It can be used in diesel engines without modifications, allowing for easy switchover from diesel fuel with no infrastructure investment required. CleanAir GTL Fuel has broadly similar physical characteristics to crude diesel derived from crude oil, but it has a much higher cetane number, a higher mass calorific value, minute levels of sulphur and aromatics, and a lower density.

Unlike CleanAir HVO it does not have GHG savings as it is not a renewable fuel, but has the same reductions in emissions as CleanAir HVO.
