1. Warranty Period
All UK Generators products carry a full year’s warranty
on assembly and manufacturing faults. Maintenance must be
carried out according to the relevant product service manual
as supplied with your new machine. If the generator is going
to be subject to exceptional use, the user has to notify
the manufacturer and consequently the warranty period will
be adapted to the given circumstance.
2. Wear and Tear
Ordinary wear and tear, improper maintenance, user’s
mistakes, abuse and misuse are not covered by the warranty.
3. Repairs
In case of a repair covered by warranty, the user is requested
to contact UK Generators Ltd first. We will then decide
whether UK Generators Ltd or the user can take action to
remedy the problem either at an approved local repair shop
or the unit is returned to our premises for repair. Transport
will be at our cost, subject to warranty being approved.
4. Generator status
Generators that are returned under the warranty must be
complete, with the serial no. and engine no. loose components
or generators that have already been dissembled are not
covered by this warranty.
5. Alterations
Alterations to the generators without the manufacturers
consent can cause the warrant to expire.
6. Generator Access
If the generator is installed in a vehicle or cabin of
any kind, removal for repair purposes must be at the cost
of the user. If the generator cannot be removed, the entire
unit will need to be returned to UK Generators Ltd at the
cost of the user.
7. Consequential Losses
UK Generators Ltd shall have no further liability to the
user under this warranty and in particular but without prejudice
to the generality of the foregoing UK Generators Ltd nor
any alleged loss of earnings by the user whilst the goods
are being repaired or replaced by UK Generators Ltd.
