The Corby based UK Generators continues with their success
in the Cabin power sector with the multiple supply of the
EPS5500DE to RB Farquhar (hires) limited in Aberdeenshire.
The EPS5500DE is a 5Kva super-silenced Electric start diesel
generator powered by the Yanmar L100AE engine with an amazing
66dBA. All of these generators are being installed into bespoke
16ft mobile welfare cabins designed and developed in conjunction
with Sydney containers and as you would expect are being supplied
with a number of specific modifications carried out by UK
Generators Ltd: Audible low level fuel alarm and automatic
cut off, hard wiring, automatic load sensing circuit and jerry
can fuel system to give a total running time of approximately
11 hours.
The generator is housed in a locked enclosure within the
cabin, where it remains even during operation. This significantly
reduces the theft potential as the unit is not visible and
noise levels are extremely low. The generator is also mounted
on heavy duty sliders which facilitate speedy access for al
servicing and maintenance requirements minimising equipment
down time and customer inconvenience. Delighted with this
