 The
EPS6000DE seen here, and regularly supplied to the hire industry
for cabin use - the control circuits were designed to allow
the generator to operate only when the cabin was in use. This
was achieved by the inclusion of Passive Infra -Red
Sensors in the cabin. This meant that the generator
will turn on only when movement is detected in the cabin and
then turn off when no movement is detected in the cabin for
a pre-determined period, thus saving fuel and service costs.
This increases the life expectancy of the generator as it
only runs when it is needed and when it is under load.
Our bespoke service continued with the addition of fitted
Battery Voltage Monitors and oversized battery
chargers so that if the battery voltage dropped too low the
generator would start automatically and run until the battery
was fully recharged.
Frost-Stats were also fitted to ensure
that the temperature within the cabin never falls as low as
freezing, again the generator starts automatically to power
the internal heating and to bring the cabin up to a pre-determined
temperature and then switches off automatically. This prevents
freezing of water supplies and associated pipe work during
cold weather.
Low Fuel level indicator and audible alarms
were also fitted inside to indicate that the generator was
running out of fuel and to give sufficient notice to refuel
before the generator shuts down.
